Anodizing is an electrochemical process that creates a slightly thicker layer of oxide that occurs naturally. This provides protection against mechanical wear and corrosion while at the same time being aesthetically pleasing.
Environmentally safe and superior corrosion resistance with German additives
At ALUMAC we use Alufinish, a chemical which is imported directly from Germany for our anodizing aluminium process to give a consistent surface finish. It is compliant with RoHS and REACH requirements, meaning it is non-toxic to the work force, end user as well as the environment.
In addition, we also use the Long-Life Etching method to carry out a layered etch-bath prior to the anodizing process. This ensures uniform etching and results in long lasting, corrosion resistant aluminium profiles that pass the Salt Spray Test.
